1. Remain in your classroom during the presentation:

• Our volunteers are not licensed to be in a classroom alone.
• Our volunteers may need assistance with discussions or materials.
• Our volunteers need help with classroom management issues.

2. Notify your volunteer and Junior Achievement if you are planning to have a substitute or if plans for the day change.

3. Notify your JA District Manager of any changes that may hinder the completion of the program in your classroom.

4. Thank your volunteer and make him/her feel special!

• Invite him/her back to volunteer for you again.
• Create a way for your students to thank him/her as well.
