Alyssa is not new to the non-profit world having worked as a volunteer intern at the National Multiple Sclerosis Society where she helped plan, prepare for, and execute some of the MS Society’s fundraising/awareness-raising events.

Alyssa is excited about coming to JA especially after attending her first JA in a Day. When asked about the experience, she said "It was so easy to see the impact our volunteers have on the kids, and vice versa. The programs are designed to make the kids excited about learning and succeeding. I know it is going to be very rewarding and fulfilling to be part of (JA)."
