Volunteer Spotlight Archives
Trish Spofford
Prospect
The reason I am so passionate about JA is that it helps children understand money and how the flow of money can affect a community.
Cathy Newmark
Waterbury
Cathy Newmark just might be able to claim the title of the Most Classes Taught By A JA Volunteer In 2006-2007. If not, then she probably holds the record for most Kindergarten classes taught in that same period.
Peter Curtis
Hamden
After being named the Junior Achievement “Salesperson of the Year” in May of 1959, Peter Curtis returned to teach JA to the 5th grade students at Columbus Family Academy in New Haven, 48 years later
Peggy Beauregard
Avon
When Peggy Beauregard moved to Avon a few years ago, she was looking for a way to become involved in the community and to take an active part in her children's education.
